We have the loveliest little session for you today! There is such fine magic in the gold of a coastal sunset, and Caitlin & Jordan’s seaside engagement with McCune Photography is downright dreamy. Not only was Mother Nature being a shameless show-off, but this sweet pair’s love easily outshone it all, and it all made for such beauty I can scarcely describe!
From the couple, Caitlin & Jordan:
“We first met in 2008 through mutual friends. The Westlake Village meets Newport Beach love journey started off with initial sparks and chemistry! While we still lived two hours away from each other this meant immediate weekend road trips to see one another until time brought us together.”
Tell us a funny story relating to your relationship!
Caitlin: “Being your typical California couple, we moved to Dallas for a time being while Jordan obtained his Doctorate. Can you imagine two Californian’s not knowing what they were getting themselves into while freaking out over hail, humidity and tornados? Safe to say we won’t be living California anytime soon but we still cannot stop laughing about the memories!”
What part of your wedding day is most important to you?
“Walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time! After eight years together we finally get to say ‘I Do’!!!”
What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?
“Living with an open heart and being kind. There is nothing more beautiful than a kind & loving heart.”
What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
Caitlin: “Creating a vision I’ve only dreamed of and bringing it to life! Design has always been a big passion for me and every girl deserves her one day to live in that fairytale.”
If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
“Never stop laughing! Even when life gets serious or busy it’s the best medicine.”
What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
“Love is not a perfect journey but it’s perfect when you’re doing it with your best friend. The lows make you stronger and the highs remind you of why it’s all worth it.”
