Romantic & Classic Fall Wedding: Eric & Graci

Elegant Autumn Wedding

Autumn brings with it the most heavenly tones! As the seasons turn and leaves change, those deep reds and elegant yellows cast beautifully across the dappled change. It makes for a particular romance which Eric & Graci sought to harness in their classic fall wedding—and oh my, did they deliver! A gorgeous historic estate, elegant details, and a positively stunning palette make magic of their exquisite nuptials. It’s the kind of loveliness which endures time itself, with Eric & Graci’s endless affection as its very soul!

From Graci & Eric, the bride and groom:

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?

Graci: “We met during college in an old basement bar. I was interviewing for a waitressing job and he was manning the door. Upon first seeing each other, we had a sort of moment that we both now call ‘love at first sight’!”

What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?

Graci & Eric: “We were able to share our first dance as husband and wife outside under the moonlight. Our family and friends gathered around us in one large circle as we swayed to Kat Edmonson’s “Oh My Love”. It started pouring rain not too long after, so the timing was perfect!”

Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?

Graci & Eric: “So much of our wedding was touched by our amazing family that everywhere we looked we saw little reminders of love. They played and sang our ceremony and cocktail hour music, they hung bistro lights over the dance floor, they choreographed a flash mob to ensure that the reception started on a high note, and even the morning of the wedding, our grandparents tied ribbon to wedding bells for our guests to ring as we walked down the aisle (a task that slipped through the cracks). The show could not have gone on without them!”

Graci: “Eric’s oldest brother also home brewed and hand bottled an IPA for our favor (the two are self-proclaimed beer enthusiasts, and their home brews are surprisingly delicious). He also designed the label that he had printed on the outside of each bottle. The beer is named “Brouquet IPA”, a play on words that combines my new last name (Brouillette) and a “bouquet” of hops! The label he wrote on the back of the beer reads: ‘E+G    A union is a beautiful thing. Whether it is a couple of people coming together as one, two groups melding into a singular happy family, friends joining to celebrate an event, or water, hops, and barley blending into liquid gold, we can all celebrate unification! Brouquet is a result of this celebration, so raise a glass and give a toast to the happy couple. To Eric & Graci. Cheers!'”
