There’s always room for challenging tradition, and nothing plays to our rebellion quite like a moody inspiration! The painterly vibes of deep shadow and dark, abiding color of this editorial live in perfect communion with exquisitely curated detail. Each lace flourish and carefully-selected bloom ushers a note of delicate splendor and sets alight the narrative of these two passionate souls in love. It’s an inspiration that lives in smoke curls and makes for the most stunning melancholy romance!
Words from the editorial team:
“The shoot was inspired by the stunning architecture of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. The texture and mood of the space inspired the dark and dramatic gown from Sweet Caroline and the dark moody tones of the organic florals by Fleurish Flower Shop. Stacey Foley wanted to create a space that evoked emotion and inspired brides with a non-traditional approach to their wedding day.”
A little from photographer Ali Marisa Photography:
“I was so inspired by the rich tones and dim window light, which created interesting shadows and added depth to the images. I also loved the contrast of the deep tones of the room, the florals, and the dress to the light and airy boudoir.”
