It’s no secret we love anniversary sessions—they’re such a magical opportunity to celebrate going the distance, honoring the “forever” that comes after a wedding day! There’s such sweet beauty in two souls who have decided to run the good race together, with interlaced hands and tightly-knit hearts, through all the deepest depths and swelling joys this life has to offer. “When I chatted with Miranda and Robert about what they truly wanted captured during their anniversary session they really kept coming back to wanting authentic emotion that looked good, so that’s precisely what I worked to capture. They’re both down-to-earth, kind-hearted people with smiles as big as the state of Texas!
In an effort to get them to focus on each other instead of the camera, we chatted for the duration of their session. I asked them questions about their favorite memories from their marriage thus far and to tell each other their biggest dreams for their future. Once they started thinking about each other, the magic happened and I was just there to document it. Love is a beautiful thing.”
