What is a favorite family pastime?
We love going to our cabin in Northern Wisconsin. It’s our happy place. Our 3 year old now gets so excited she talks about it every day before we leave for a trip! When we’re up there we love hiking, fishing and spending time relaxing around a bonfire.
Any recent lessons learned?
We’ve learned to enjoy moments together more because they’re so fleeting. Everything is temporary so keeping that in the forefront of our minds really helps us be grateful for every smile, tantrum (ha) and learning experience.
Tell us a funny family story!
While fishing off of a pier, our daughter was learning how to cast a line. Dad was showing her the ropes and when it was time for her to try it all by herself, she cast the line out, pole and all!
What does family mean to you?
Family means, “those are my people”. The first ones you tell good and bad news to and who you lean into for support. They’re the ones you can’t wait to share every experience with.
