I truly never tire of seeing the city of love lit up with its namesake. Lovers in Paris are just perfection: they seem so perfectly at home wandering its romantic streets and tucked within its blissfully architectural walls. It’s as if the city was built precisely for them, precisely with their souls in mind. What a lovely magic.
A word from photographer Terri Motraghi of Cerise Photography:
“This timeless Parisian elopement shoot exudes elegant Old World romance. We were inspired by the soft pastels, delicate lace, ornate jewelry, and quintessential Parisian architecture.
We began at the Trocadero in the early hours of the morning and then made our way to the Louvre. When our stomachs began to rumble, we stopped at a French café to enjoy espresso and croissants. Our bride and groom had a few good laughs (and an arm wrestling fight for good measure).
The bride wore spectacular gowns by San Francisco based companies Lace and Liberty and Amy Kuschel. The first dress by Amy Kuschel was made of soft, delicate lace and the second was a blush tulle gown by Lace and Liberty that caught the light beautifully. The dusty blue skirt is also by Lace and Liberty, who specialize in offering bridal separates.
And of course a French photoshoot wouldn’t be complete without decadent desserts. Bouchra at Sweet Creations Cake hand crafted two exquisite wedding cakes and Janae at She Bakes It Designer Cakes provided minimalist cookies.
A whimsical sunrise shoot in the city of love that captures the essence of a classic Parisian romance!”
