One of our favorite experiences of branding The White Wren was organizing and executing our branding shoot! It was such a lovely way to illustrate our concept and make inspirations tangible—watching the shoot coming together was watching the White Wren vision coming to life. What an honor and a privilege to work with such industry talents to make manifest our intention for the blog! For today’s feature, we wanted to share a bit of our branding inspiration and invite you further into our little creation!
A word from the photographer, Live View Studios:
“A wedding day is one of reflection, of new beginnings, of love manifested in celebration. Hers is a quiet morning bathed in reverie, moments of restful anticipation and waiting. Today was a day of culmination—a lifetime of shared memories, of childhood games in the garden and cultivated feelings permanently fulfilled in a union of two families, two lives, and two souls. This is her childhood home, the grounds on which she took her first steps, and the place in which she would take her first steps to marriage. The walls speak to every memory, an entire history of ancestors who have lived and loved in kind. The anticipations had mounted as she carefully set the tables the day before, a setting for each loved one who had guided them to their wedding day. Now, her soul quakes with every heartbeat as she pauses to reflect on their lives together, detailing her prayers for their shared future in her family’s heirloom journal. And when she’s dressed and ready, she walks through the grounds of their adolescence where their childhood selves traced patterns of joy and excitement with endless hide-and-seeks and adventurous make-believes. Today would be a day of fairytales made true.
When she returns to her home, the scene of life past and life to begin, she retreats to the silo—her family’s sanctuary of peace and reflection and prayer—simply to breathe. To breathe and to dream and to seek God in thankfulness for the blessed adventure to come. And as the sun traces its path across the sky, the hour approaches and is upon her…
This is it.”
