Baby, it’s time to elope. And when you do – how much more stylish and dashing than doing it Vegas style!
“Vegas”! I (Alyssa) screamed, as we were brainstorming ideas for a collaborative shoot we knew we wanted to do, but didn’t think would actually happen so close to wedding season. As I was preparing to leave for a trip to Vegas myself, the inspiration was there, and the vibes felt right, so we knew we actually had to follow through. Candice immediately went to work sourcing the most amazing vendors in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Alicia found us the perfect (MOST IN LOVE) models we could have hoped for. These photos showcase so much talent from so many incredible wedding vendors – they took our bright, vibrant, sexy, elegant, fun, flirty, vintage Vegas vibes and ran with it. They showcase love, in its purest form, because these weren’t just models – the chemistry you feel through your screens is real. Laura and Ian give off a heat that not many couples show up with to their shoots, so this was extra special to capture. But more than anything, these photos represent community over competition above all else. It’s easy to be the only photographer on a project, to want all of the image credit for yourself. But in this case, three of us teamed up to work together to bring this vision to life, and we all edited our photos in a way that made them seamlessly fit into one gallery, while also incorporating styles from each of us.
