Sometimes wedding inspiration arrives in unexpected places.
For Gianna and Andrew, it began with a seafoam green sofa tucked inside the lobby of Hotel Moraine. That single design element became the jumping-off point for a wedding day filled with playful color, garden-inspired florals, and a relaxed coastal elegance that perfectly reflected their easygoing personalities.
Set along the waterfront, their September celebration embraced the beauty of the North Fork with a poolside ceremony overlooking the water and a sailcloth tent reception layered with florals, candlelight, and soft hues inspired by the hotel’s interiors. The result was a wedding that felt fresh, whimsical, and effortlessly inviting—a perfect balance of thoughtful design and relaxed celebration.
“Inspired by a seafoam green sofa, their wedding became a celebration filled with playful color, waterfront views, and effortless coastal charm.”

Design Inspiration
Inspired by the striking seafoam green sofa in the hotel lobby, Gianna and Andrew’s wedding palette embraced soft greens, airy neutrals, and layered textures that felt both sophisticated and playful.
The design carried the aesthetic of the hotel interiors outdoors, creating a seamless transition between spaces. Garden-inspired florals softened the waterfront setting while thoughtful rentals and layered details added warmth beneath the sailcloth tent.
Every element felt intentional without ever feeling overly formal.

A Waterfront Ceremony
The ceremony unfolded beside the pool overlooking the water, allowing the natural beauty of the setting to take center stage.
Guests gathered beneath the coastal sky as Gianna and Andrew exchanged vows surrounded by lush florals and sweeping waterfront views. The setting felt intimate and relaxed, capturing everything the couple envisioned for their wedding day.

A Garden-Inspired Reception Under Sailcloth
As evening settled over the waterfront, guests moved into a sailcloth tent glowing with candlelight.
Layered florals, beautiful tablescapes, and thoughtful details created an atmosphere that felt welcoming and romantic. The soft color palette, inspired by the hotel itself, carried throughout the reception design and created a cohesive visual story from beginning to end.
The result was a celebration that felt equal parts elegant and effortless.
