Warmhearted Downtown Anniversary Session in the Streets of Houston: Rhabby & Corrie

Downtown Anniversary Session

We see a lot of new love in our little corner of the internet, but I for one have a sweet spot for romances that have withstood the test of time and somehow still carry that little spark of magic! Enter,  Rhabby & Corrie: three decades, two continents, and one very lovely love!

A word from photographer, Marni Wishart:

“Couple’s Anniversary Portraiture has become a passion project for me, celebrating that love lasts and love grows. I love to see my clients take time together to reconnect and to document what makes their relationship unique and special.

Corrie and Rhabby have a beautiful love story and so much joy when they are together. They met in the summer of 1989 during their church choir meeting in Manila, where they are both originally from.”

Love notes from the couple, Rhabby & Corrie:

Rhabby: “When I first met her, I already knew that is was going to be her. If it’s one thing that I admire most about my wife is her integrity and her generous heart. Of course, aside from being gorgeous which is a bonus, her long black hair and great skin was a point of attraction for me.”

Corrie: “Rhabby’s unwavering faith drew me to him. He is such a caring and loving individual. It’s not easy to deal with me but he knew exactly how to do that. He is my biggest supporter and is always there for me no matter what. I am truly blessed to have found him.”

“We have been together as a couple for 28 years and this year have been married for 20 years. We both love doing the same things most of the time. We love working out together, getting massages, mani pedis, exploring different cities, sing, dance… and we love being goofy together We make sure that we do date nights. May it be going out to dine, shop, take a trip or just staying home watching movies and ordering in. Most importantly, we prioritize our faith in the Lord who always guides us throughout our lives.”

What is the most important thing in your marriage?

“The most important thing for both of us in marriage is putting Jesus Christ at the center of all of it including our individual lives.”

What is the most honest thing you can say about love?

“Love has no hidden agenda. Love has no set conditions or rules of any kind.”
