Bridal portraits are something that have become a little less popular than in recent years, but we still think they are wonderful! I mean, you get TWO opportunities to prance around in your wedding dress and feel like a queen for the day … how awesome is that? Some brides choose outdoor photos for their bridal portraits, while some choose the traditional studio portraits (which is a safer way of keeping your dress clean before your big day!). This traditional studio portrait session also utilizes a colored hand painted backdrop for a little something special.
from the photographer: “A gorgeous hand painted blush backdrop was all it took to inspire this romantic styled shoot! I’ve been dying to use one of these JRD Artshop backgrounds so when I heard one was available at Creative Space Studios, I started a moodboard right away. I gathered inspiration from pastel hues to create a soft, airy look bursting with fresh blooms and a hint of a luxury European feel. The dreamy blush tone of the backdrop called for a whimsical bouquet that The Bloom Bar effortlessly crafted. Our breathtaking model Tamara Lawrence donned two stunning dresses courtesy of A & Be Bridal: the first a modern, sleek slip gown & the second, tiered tulle showstopper that completed the pastel look of our story. While the elements are quite simple and minimal, we’re in love with the richness of color and beauty these images tell!”
