from the photographer: “I had the idea to capture editorial portraits of a cool bride that is enjoying herself on her wedding day. Too often, weddings feel like a whirlwind with a full timeline, so I wanted to slow things down with a dedicated time to a bride enjoying herself in a venue.
The first dress is a modern style sheath dress with statement bow sleeves. We wanted the attention to mostly be on the bride for this look and her expressions so we wanted to keep it a simple gown.
The 2nd dress is vintage and completely compliments the heritage of the classic glamour of the Fairmont Hotel. We paired a modern shape sunglasses and a vintage black velvet clutch to give it a cool, updated vibe.”
