Timeless Golden Chateau Inspiration

Timeless Golden Chateau Inspiration

Today’s feature is inspired by a timeless French chateau wedding. The timeless and sensual golden details are very complimentary to this bride and the photographer. The wallpaper is such a gorgeous detail that we see at this stunning mansion that we cannot wait for you guys to see. We love the florals that were chosen for this shoot and the inclusion of the floral girl was a wonderful touch. We hope you enjoy this bright inspiration for today!

From the photographer: When looking for a venue in Prague, Czech Republic we were immediately drawn to this beautiful chateau. Nestled between the golden fields and green hills, away from the rush and hustle of the city.
The history of the Chateau starts around 1715, when Count František Antonín Špork built La Maison de Bon Repos, which translates to House of Rest. Pastel fresco’s covering the walls, gilded architecture and soft morning light were filling up the space, as we entered the XVIII century chateau. We stood in awe of its Baroque interior – grand halls, intricate weathered details and dilapidated walls. It was obvious that Chateau Bon Repos was designed especially for an intimate and luxurious wedding celebrations. You were left wondering what this place had seen in its years, who it had entertained, and how you were so lucky to be standing in its presence.

From the photographer: The idea for the shoot was born from a desire to built a concept upon femininity, sensuality and timeless elegance. We wanted to take the historical chateau and its unique Baroque atmosphere, and to weave it into our bridal inspiration. Our aim was to evoke an old-world charm feeling through our design and imagery.

From the photographer: Inspired by the architecture and history of the place, we decided to select a delicate color palette that embraced the natural beauty of the space surrounding us. Flowers and fruits were hand-picked from the gardens on the property grounds, to pull from the scenery’s natural elements and ensure that all the floral elements were cohesive within the surroundings. By adding the subtle touches of blue and peachy shades, we elevated the overall design. Our bride was dressed in two thoughtfully selected gowns – one from Justin Alexander and one from a polish designer Sylwia Kopczynska.
