Today’s styled shoot is really one for the books. We love the unique yet trendy style of this day and the contrasting elements that really bring this whole shoot to life. We are loving these dried flowers that we get to see with the bride paired with the perfect shade of ribbon, along with the coordinating table setting. The cake is just the cutest little stacked box cake that we cannot wait for you guys to see! Enjoy!
From the Photographer: As we make the shift to a more waste free and minimal lifestyle so are our weddings. Keeping with a neutral colour palette we wanted to play with textures and organic details. We didn’t want to overstylize, instead we let the natural features and imperfections shine through. Everything from florals to the cake to the place cards have their own unique feel. Incorporating black into the shoot was another key aspect as normally black is seen as an unfavourable colour in most cultures. We wanted to show how beautiful this colour can be if done correctly.
From the Photographer: The old bricks from the venue created the perfect setting for our shoot. We decided to create two looks for our tablescape for a day to night look. The fresh flowers were lighter and works perfectly for an afternoon reception and as we head into the evening, the dried centrepieces create a more intimate atmosphere. This goes to show how switching up the placement of the same items can freshen up a look without causing additional waste.
