We do love a couple who is willing to go on an adventure for their wedding or engagement session. After all – isn’t love an adventure in and of itself?? Stew and Saori headed to Sedona with two of our White Wren Collaborative members, Heather Anderson and Xsperience Photography, and made this beautiful collection of images and video together!
from the photographer: “Last month I met Stew, Saori, and their dog Timber (who had the cutest special collar) in Sedona. We hiked at sunrise so we could have the park to ourselves. Sedona is one of Saori’s favorite places. Stew is a geologist from New Zealand and Saori an RN from Japan but they are located in Arizona.”
“Stew and I met online when he used to live up in Flagstaff and I was visiting for a weekend. Once we matched, I was honest with him that I did not live in Flagstaff but down in Tucson. He didn’t like that at first but we kept talking/texting. At the time of matching online, I actually did not get to meet him. I went back home thinking oh this isn’t going to work. But somehow my emotions grew over the phone/texts because I could just tell something is different with a guy. So after a month of talking, I made a leap of faith to go visit him for a weekend, and the rest is history. That was a little over 4 years ago. After a year and a few months of doing a long-distance relationship, trying to see each other every other weekend or so, Stew decided to uproot his life and moved down to Tucson to live with me! We have adopted a golden retriever/ basset mix rescue 3 years ago. His name is Timber, and we try to bring him on as many adventures as we can. We have also bought a Scamp last year, so we have been having so much fun going on adventures with that!” – Saori
