Nova Scotia Vineyard Elopement Inspiration

Nova Scotia Vineyard Elopement Inspiration

Stunning Nova Scotia vineyard elopement inspiration that is simple & authentic, being a very warm summer day the cloud coverage was welcomed! Elopements give the opportunity for couples to spend so much time with each other, centered around simplicity & togetherness, it truly brings an authentic experience.

Our styled shoot took place on what must have been one of the hottest days of the year in Nova Scotia – August in the vineyards can get so very hot. Thankfully, toward the end of the day, nearing golden hour, we had a huge rain cloud come over us. It was so refreshing and so needed! The amount of time couples get to spend together on the day of their elopement is truly one of a kind, and we wanted to capture this simplicity and authenticity with this styled shoot. I feel like the dramatic cloud cover and little bit of rain added an authenticity to this shoot that just can’t be replicated. It was so unique, beautiful, and authentic. We had the most beautiful florals, and the details were just incredible. It truly felt like no detail was missed. The elopements and micro weddings in 2020 were definitely a high point of our wedding season, and I hope to see many more elopements again this season, because it truly does go to show: love conquers all. – Marie Roy Photography
