Every once in a while, there comes an inspiration that steals your breath, and yet you welcome the theft! Every piece of today’s feature sings with such tremendous elegance. It’s as if romance itself breathed it to life, and it’s all tucked into the lovely corners of the historic Retreat at Cool Spring! Such beauty, such loveliness, a perfect dream for the classic bride!
From stylist, Lauren Niles Events:
“This shoot was inspired by the warm, but formal interiors of traditional southern homes. Along the way, we fell in love with the idea of incorporating lily of the valley as a motif throughout as a nod to a time when blooms were chosen for their meaning, in this case, humility, sweetness and happiness. A few of our favorite elements were the gorgeous Retreat at Cool Spring for its well appointed furnishings and spectacular light, the delicate bouquet wrapped with a vintage millinery ribbon, the gentlemanly details complimented by a crisp white dinner jacket, the honey hued velvet napkins on the dining table, and the towering cake adorned with an intricate sugar wreath of greens and lily of the valley. This real couple’s love was exuberant, and their portraits are the centerpiece of the entire shoot. Tradition and romance came together for this dreamy shoot by Rebekah Emily Photography.”
