There are few things I find more breathtaking than the rocky crawls of a mountainous river! The way the water forges its way through the terrain, washing over boulders and rocks, conducting a symphony of rushing waters and tranquil pools against a backdrop of teaming forests. It’s an organic meeting of natural minds, a marriage of mighty majesty which paints the perfect scene for a truly lovely Oregon river bridal inspiration!
When we saw these portraits Nicole Conner captured, I couldn’t help but fall madly in love. It’s the perfect combination of hard and soft–a true depiction of simply beautiful!
From the photographer:
“The Three Pools shoot was part of a one-one mentorship with Donny Zavala Photography outside of Salem, Oregon to showcase the work of wedding gown designer. Emily Rose Riggs and other talented artists. With jewelry from Susie Saltzman and florals from Foraged Floral the details were exquisite. Our beautiful brunette model Rachel Jenkins whose hair and makeup was styled by Kylie Sallee looked so graceful in the delicate designs of Emily Riggs. A beautiful invitation suite was crafted with calligraphy from Kelsey Malie Calligraphy. We were inspired by the natural surroundings, the lush forest backdrop, the running water into the pools, the texture and tones of the rocks and mostly the colors of the environment. Rich greens, beautiful blues, soft blush, and creamy whites.”
