Tell us how the pandemic has changed things at home “Our family has slowed down a lot. Prior to the pandemic, we were always on the go and in a rush. It has been nice to evaluate what is really important and not take on too much. We have also noticed less waste and more preparation and thoughtfulness when it comes to things like meal planning.”
How has this year been for your family? “Although this year brought many challenges, it has also been a bit of a blessing for us. Our youngest turned one in July and we were able to spend a lot of quality time together as a family of 5! Our time at home has brought us all closer together, especially our kids. But, we also greatly missed spending time with our extended family and friends, and enjoying many of our favourite activities.”
What is something you all really enjoy doing together? “We love going for walks on nature trails or down by the water. Our kids pick flowers, ride bikes, and explore their surroundings. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors as a family.”
Tell us one memorable family event or activity from this year. “In March my husband put together a big outdoor play structure and swing set for the kids! It got us through many long days at home this spring and our kids have enjoyed it so much!”
