A beautiful Monterey maternity session that had a wistful feel to it as Danielle and Matt were surrounded by the fog and stood along the shoreline. They are soaking up the warm anticipation as they prepare to welcome their little girl into the world!

Everything we do is to put family first. We have moved to a city with some of the best school districts, is safe, and have made a priority to involved our extended family in our lives. What are the best things you’ve learned from each other? Matt has learned more ways to love and instill trust in others from watching Danielle navigate through life and family dynamics. Danielle has learned and is continuing to learn how set boundaries and know that it is okay to make herself a priority.

If you had one piece of advice for other families, what would it be? Be patient and know what you are fighting for. What’s your favorite family pastime together? Our favorite family pastime together is keeping things simple. We love going out to nice dinners, hiking/walks, and being present with each other. We also enjoy watching sports, seeing friends and family, and wine tasting! Any lessons you learned as a family through the last year? We learned better communication skills especially through this pregnancy. We are learning to take time to really enjoy each others company and not sweat the small stuff. What does family mean to you? To us, family means having a support system to lean on through the hard and easy times. Being able to create memories together and grow stronger together each and every day. Tell us a fun or silly story that happened to your family recently!
