Elegant & refined today’s Mission San Juan Capistrano elopement inspiration is truly a pleasure to witness. With grand architecture as the backdrop, delicate floral designs as well as a muted color palette, this editorial is timeless. Truly inspirational for those who value the idea of a romantic & intimate elopement design.
“The inspiration for this shoot was to create an opportunity to design a modern yet romantic elopement to provide inspiration for couples who had to postpone their larger celebrations but were still inspired to get married on their originally planned wedding date; much like the real married couple, Nuri and Matt, featured here. When searching for a venue that embodied both the inspiration for a classic modern elopement but with a timeless modern twist, the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano and its beautiful grandiose architecture created the perfect backdrop for our elopement. When designing the shoot, we focused on curating a design and color palette that was both classic and chic. Zeyda of The Little Fleur Co. created the floral elements for the shoot. During the floral design process, it was important to create arrangements that fit seamlessly with the natural elements of the venue.
Given that the shoot featured a real married couple, we were able to create a beautiful authentic feel to the photographs which was what we were striving to achieve. The photographer Pauline Conway shared this about the experience, âWhat made this shoot extra special is that our couple had just eloped a few weeks prior so we really wanted to focus on their newly marital bliss and the love they share with one anotherâ. When asked, “What is the most honest thing you can say about love?”, Nuri responded with, “Love is a true blessing that not everyone finds. We are so lucky to have found each other and I thank God for providing that in my life”. During a year when weddings have been such a hurdle to navigate, having the opportunity to celebrate love and marriage with such a wonderful couple in a beautiful location was such a reminder of how deeply impactful marriage and the celebrations we have around it are.” – Jeannene Lillie Events
