We’re taking it back to springtime today with this lovely floral explosion of bridal inspiration. It looks like a painting and we are obsessed!
from the photographer: “Inspired by the blooming magnolia trees, I wanted to curate a wedding design embracing femininity and the spring season! I loved the idea of mixing elegant, modern details with traditionally feminine design elements like bows and lace. I wanted the design to feel feminine and fine art while also being very minimal and effortless.
For the bridal look, we opted for a whimsical ponytail and delicate, soft pink makeup. The shoes by Bella Belle fit the overall design perfectly with their lace and ribbon detailing. I absolutely fell in love with this gown from The Bridal Parlour, designed by Made with Love Bridal! The tulle bows on the sleeve with the lace fabric and modern silhouette perfectly fit the vision.
We actually used two versions of the gown – one fitted, and one more A-line. We used the more dramatic, flowing gown for the portraits among the flowering magnolia trees. The fitted silhouette worked perfectly for portraits in the Settings Venue, with the elegant, modern feel of the white walls and natural light. The sun glistened in between the magnolia trees in Forest Park for our bridal portraits. It was the most perfect spring day! The tablescape was set up under the low hanging branches of the magnolia trees, giving it the appearance of being draped in florals.
The tablescape centerpiece designed by Snapdragon Studio perfectly complimented the natural florals of the trees with its organic arrangement. The scalloped plates were paired with white linen napkins, tied neatly with silk ribbon. A matching silk ribbon was draped and tied across the cake for a minimal and feminine feel.”
