Set against the sweeping beauty of Steamboat Springs, Madison and Ethan’s wedding weekend was a seamless blend of natural grandeur and refined celebration. Designed to honor the surrounding landscape while embracing a formal, elevated aesthetic, their day unfolded beneath a pristine aspen grove at Flying Diamond Ranch—where mountain charm met timeless elegance.
With 200 guests traveling from across the country, the weekend was thoughtfully curated as a true experience—one that invited connection, celebration, and presence. The ceremony setting leaned into the quiet beauty of the outdoors, while the reception introduced a more polished, ballroom-inspired atmosphere, creating a layered celebration that felt both grounded and grand.
“The ease is what draws you in, but the commitment is what makes it last.”

What part of your wedding day was most important to you?
One of the most important parts of the day for us was our vows. We put a lot of thought into them, and it felt really special to stand in front of all the people we love and share, in our own words, what this commitment means.
With everyone traveling all the way to Steamboat to celebrate with us, it made that moment even more meaningful. Our vows were our way of letting people into our relationship and showing them why this moment mattered so much. The response we received afterward just reinforced how special it really was, and it’s something we’ll always hold onto.

What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?
I’ve learned how to slow down and not take life too seriously. Ethan brings a sense of calm and perspective that reminds me what actually matters.
He’s learned how to be more intentional and push himself in new ways. We make each other better—not by changing who we are, but by helping each other grow into more of who we’re meant to be.

What is your favorite thing about each other?
My favorite thing about Ethan is the way he shows up for people. He has this natural ability to make anyone feel comfortable, whether it’s someone he’s known forever or someone he just met. His goal in any room is to make people laugh or smile, and he does that so effortlessly. He brings so much energy and lightness into everything, and life is just more fun with him in it.
Ethan always says that one of his favorite things about me is the way I love people. He tells me I have this ability to see the best in everyone, to make people feel truly heard and cared for, while also pushing them to grow into more of who they’re capable of being. Hearing that from him has made me appreciate that part of myself even more.

If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
Enjoy the day. I definitely felt the stress leading up to it, but once the weekend came, I made a conscious decision to let that go and really soak in every moment. You can’t control everything, and something will inevitably go wrong, but none of that actually matters.
It’s one of the only times in your life that your closest friends and family from every chapter come together in one place, and that’s a really special feeling.
So take it in, focus on each other, and enjoy everything you worked so hard to create. The little things won’t matter—but the way you felt that weekend will.

What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
When it’s the right person, you know. There’s a level of ease and certainty that makes everything feel aligned in a way you can’t force.
But real love isn’t just that feeling—it’s what you do with it. It’s choosing each other every day, making sacrifices, and continuing to prioritize your relationship through every season of life.
The ease is what draws you in, but the commitment is what makes it last.
