There’s a certain kind of beauty that only the ocean can create—soft, expansive, and endlessly calming. For Kindall and Justin, their wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum embraced exactly that feeling, blending timeless coastal elegance with modern refinement against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.
Designed in a palette of powder blue, ivory, and soft greenery, the day felt effortlessly romantic from beginning to end. Minimalist blooms, glowing glass votives, and monochromatic tablescapes allowed the natural beauty of the seaside setting to shine, while suspended floral installations above the dance floor added movement and softness to the reception space. The result was a celebration that felt elevated yet relaxed—luxurious without ever trying too hard.
“Soft coastal tones, ocean air, and a celebration designed to feel both timeless and effortless.”

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?
The two first met on Hinge and eventually planned a date at a brewery overlooking the Potomac in Washington, D.C.
Justin’s first impression of Kindall was that she was incredibly beautiful, smart, and driven. Kindall immediately saw Justin as warm, intelligent, and ambitious. From the beginning, there was a natural ease between them that made everything feel effortless.
Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship!
One of the most stressful moments leading up to the wedding has now become one of their favorite stories to laugh about.
Fully packed, seated in first class with their dog beside them, and ready to head to San Diego for the wedding week, they were suddenly forced to deplane after a massive thunderstorm rolled through D.C., causing them to miss their connection.
Thankfully, they were still a week out from the wedding—but in the moment, it definitely didn’t feel funny.

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
Without question, the best part of the process was planning alongside their wedding planner, Korina—who also happens to be Kindall’s best friend since high school.
Having someone who truly knew them personally transformed the experience entirely. What could have been stressful instead became joyful, emotional, and deeply meaningful. Together, they created something that felt intentional, personal, and unforgettable.
If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
Enjoy every single moment.
The entire season passes faster than you think it will. Between the tastings, fittings, decisions, and celebrations, it’s easy to become consumed by logistics—but those moments become memories too.
Their advice is simple: stay present, soak it in, and allow yourself to truly experience it all.

Design & Atmosphere
The wedding design centered around understated sophistication.
Inspired by the surrounding sea and sky, the palette remained soft and restrained—powder blue linens layered against ivory florals and delicate greenery. Tables glowed beneath rows of glass votives, while contemporary rentals added texture and structure without overpowering the setting.
Above the dance floor, suspended floral installations created a sense of movement and intimacy, transforming the reception into something ethereal once the sun set over the ocean.
