There’s something especially beautiful about a wedding that feels deeply rooted in both heritage and place. For Taline and Nareg, their celebration at Villa Cozzano blended the warmth of their Armenian traditions with the rustic romance of the Italian countryside, creating a wedding that felt intimate, timeless, and full of heart.
Following a sacred ceremony in a historic Armenian church just outside Cortona, guests gathered beneath the Umbrian sky for an unforgettable al fresco reception. Long tables glowed beneath candlelight, romantic florals softened the landscape, and sweeping countryside views stretched endlessly around them. The entire evening carried a quiet elegance—where meaningful connection and effortless beauty existed side by side.
“It’s often the simplest moments together that become the most meaningful.”

A Celebration Rooted in Family
One of the most meaningful parts of the wedding weekend was the decision to have family and close friends all stay together at the villa.
Sharing meals, conversations, and slow moments throughout the days leading up to the celebration created an atmosphere that felt deeply personal and connected. More than just a venue, Villa Cozzano became a temporary home—one filled with laughter, storytelling, and the kind of togetherness that made the entire experience unforgettable.
Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.
We had originally planned to hold our ceremony at a church in the town of Castiglione del Lago in Perugia, Umbria. However, just two weeks before the wedding, we were unexpectedly informed that the church had to close for urgent structural renovations.
Thankfully, our incredible wedding planner, Sabrina Carbone, was already steps ahead. Not only did she handle the situation seamlessly, but she also had thoughtful backup plans ready to go. Thanks to her quick thinking and care, we were able to move our wedding ceremony to a church located in Cortona, just a short distance from our celebration venue, Villa Cozzano.
In the end, everything worked out perfectly! We embraced the change, enjoyed a stunning scenic drive, and took in the breathtaking Tuscan hills along the way. It turned an unexpected challenge into an unforgettable part of our wedding story.

Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?
One of the most special ways we incorporated our family into our wedding was by having everyone stay together at the same villa. It gave us the chance to spend meaningful time with one another beyond just the wedding day itself.
From shared meals to laughter throughout the day, we truly cherished every second of being all together in one place. It made the entire experience feel even more intimate and unforgettable.

What is your favorite thing about each other?
Our favourite thing about each other is the deep sense of comfort and trust we share. We can truly open up to one another without any fear of judgment, which has strengthened our connection in so many ways.
We constantly uplift and appreciate one another, never taking for granted the love, support, and encouragement we bring into each other’s lives.
We also deeply value how we navigate tough times together, with patience, understanding, and unwavering support. No matter what comes our way, we face it as a team, always reminding each other how grateful we are to have one another by our side.

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
Our favourite part of wedding planning was the opportunity to visit Italy ahead of the big day. Seeing our venue in person made everything feel so real, and it gave us the chance to connect with the incredible team at Villa Cozzano—we instantly felt at home, as though we had known them for years. Their warmth, hospitality, and constant smiles made the entire experience even more special.
We also genuinely loved working with our wedding planner, Sabrina Carbone. She made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free! We looked forward to our planning video calls and even our WhatsApp voice notes. It felt less like planning and more like sharing the journey with someone who really cared about bringing our vision to life.

If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
If we had one piece of advice for other couples, it would be to stay patient with each other and truly cherish the little moments. It’s often the simplest things, like sharing a quiet morning coffee together, that become the most meaningful.
Amid all the planning and excitement, don’t lose sight of what really matters: being present for one another and valuing the everyday moments that make your relationship so special.
