A stunning view for such a wonderful season of life. Today we get to change it up a bit and admire such a beautiful soon to be mother! On the shores of Maryland, this mom-to-be gets cozied up to meet her new baby girl. We love the mix of colors in this session, with such a crisp yet nostalgic feel. We loved her sweater dress for one part of the shoot and how well it reflected the setting of this beautiful day. Happy scrolling!

From the photographer: Rachel, a friend and first time mother, invited me to photograph this monumental stage in her life while on vacation on Maryland’s eastern shore. A photographer herself, she found it important to document her journey into motherhood and the tranquility and joy she experienced leading up to meeting her daughter.
