Such a fun filled session today with this sweet couple celebrating the arrival of their first baby girl!
from the photographer: “I had the pleasure of photographing Austin and her husband Grant this past fall (with their adorable long-haired German Shepard, George!), and in getting to know them, learned they were hoping to start a family in the near future.
I was absolutely elated when Austin texted me that they have a baby on the way and would love for me to photograph some pregnancy announcement and gender reveal photos for them.
Her hopes for the session were create a homey, casual feeling and incorporating a exciting visual element in pink or blue to announce baby’s gender. We landed on pink confetti cannons, and they were absolutely perfect!
I was able to rent the studio space for their session, and I love how the pink confetti pops against the white walls and flooring.
We also decided to incorporate a few portraits using my Willow Canvas painted backdrop – the tones in this custom backdrop perfectly complimented the session.”
