Columbus Museum of Art Bridal

Today we have a bridal session from the Columbus Museum of Art that is just as artistic & stunning as the beautiful pieces hanging within the museum. The color palette is a blend of both bold & neutrals that compliment each setup of the editorial. A mixture of cream, soft pinks and golden florals paired with the naturally changing foliage created a design that is warm and captivating!

The Columbus Museum of Art’s classic and eloquent architecture set the tone for this modernized yet artful shoot. With planning and design by Alexa Kate Events, and florals by The Budding Florist Cincy, they tied old-world elements with a rich and earthy autumnal palette. The table was set with lush fall foliage and each place setting has a handmade paper scroll with the guest’s name held in place with a decorative paint brush.
The bride wore a Rita Vinieris gown designed as a modernized heritage piece. The designers Fall 2021 collection blended this hybrid styling for a fusion of past and future. For the invitation, we drew inspiration from the museum’s permanent collection which includes late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century American and European art. Before the envelope was sealed, the invitation pieces were bound with a delicate gold thread and adorned with an antique calligraphy nib. Envelopes were lined with a painted pastoral landscape. -Lauren Lee Photography
