We love to hear the ways our brides and creatives marry bridal sessions with the wilds of nature, and nothing could be more gorgeous than an epic location! Photographer Hannah Browning went on an adventure with her bride, also Hannah, to the magnificent sandy slopes of the Monahans Sandhills—what resulted was the stuff of lovely bridal bliss!

“Hannah is as graceful and beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her Watters gown matched her demeanor perfectly—poised and delicate. She told me she was open to any ideas for bridal locations. The first thing that came to mind was light, sand and wind captured on film. When I mentioned Monahans Sandhills, she immediately said yes! I was shocked she was so willing to put her faith in me. Hannah, her mom and I drove 3 hours to get to the location. Six hours in the car of vulnerable conversations about what the Lord was doing in our lives is something I will never forget. God truly blessed us on that day with beautiful light and the perfect amount of wind to create movement. Photovision Lab did an amazing job as well. If you asked me what are my favorite pictures I have ever taken to date–it would hands down be these. Not because they are only beautiful but represent God’s faithfulness and creation.”
From Hannah, the bride:
“A few months prior to taking my bridal portraits, Hannah asked if I would be willing to travel to Monahans to take my bridal portraits in the Monahans Sandhills State Park. Because I totally trusted her creative vision and loved the idea of doing something a little different, I quickly agreed! When the day rolled around, we had so much fun traveling to Monahans and visiting in the car. Once we arrived, we headed to an area of the park where Hannah had heard was great for pictures. The warm sand was so soft, and we all shared giggles as we hiked up the sandy hills. Hannah always makes it easy and fun to pose for pictures. She carefully considered each shot, and provided wonderful directions. Playing around with my veil and bouquet and the shadows of the hills gave us a variety of shots. I loved participating in such a unique and exciting shoot, and I am so grateful to my talented friend, Hannah, for providing me with images I can enjoy for the rest of my life!”
