Andrea & Jordan’s San Juan Capistrano Wedding

Today we bring you a fun, sunny day that shows off a carefree couple, Andrea & Jordan, just living in the moment of their wedding day. Their smiles say it all! We are loving their unique seating charts (check out the pottery!) and the beautiful greenery growing over the villa landscaping at their wedding venue!

from the photographer: “Jordan & Andrea are a carefree, fun-loving couple that intentionally made the effort to enjoy their wedding day from beginning to end, and their photos truly reflect that joy that comes from being in the moment — such a goal these days! Their wedding used many natural elements throughout their decor that complimented their Italian countryside, fairy-tale venue incredibly well. I wanted to capture their whimsy and effervescent nature in their photos and highlight the love that the entire group shared with one another. Their excitement, laughter, smiles, and even tears lit up their wedding photos. I know their grandkids will love looking at them someday!”

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?
We met in college at Arizona State through mutual friends. Actually met a few times before finally “connecting”. Rest was history!
Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship!
We were blasting music so loud on the way to the church that the priest told us he heard us pull up
Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.
We have dealt with long distance at one point so that was the biggest hurdle. Wedding planning was cake!
Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?
We had our god parents do the readings and my grandmother made my purse with her 65 year old wedding dress!
What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?
We wanted to make sure everything we did was for us, while at the same time having so much fun. Focus was always on our marriage and not the little details.
What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?
Patience. Trust. Unconditional love.
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Jordan has a zest for life that is unmatched. I will laugh and have adventures until I’m old with him.
Andrea is grounded, smart, and caring. She takes care of everyone around her.
What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
Date nights gushing about how great it would be!
If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Go into it consciously choosing to enjoy every minute – even though something will go wrong. Soak it up, the day flies by!!
What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
You’ll do anything for the one you love.
