from the photographer: “There’s nothing better than connecting with an amazing wedding client and creating something truly special!
Anastasia and Artem are a dream come true, and when we first met to discuss their big day, I knew this was going to be truly magical. It’s always great to be on the same page with the couple. I aim to build a relationship this them during the preparations period. I believe it helps them to feel more relaxed on the wedding day itself and get more relaxed pictures. The special request that the couple wanted their pictures to be less staged.
On the day itself we had so much fun shooting getting ready pictures followed by an emotional ceremony where the younger brother of the bride was ring man. He drove down the aisle on a kids scooter with rings attached to it, it was such a cute moment.
After the ceremony there were so much dances, warm speeches and kids running around, laughter and tears of joy. I was so lucky to become a part of this celebration. Raw emotions, madly in love couple and such a warm atmosphere where people just let this celebration be, fully embracing it and letting emotion go.”

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?

We met at the driving school when we were 16 or 17. At the time, Artem thought of me as a girl out of his league, that I would never could possibly be interersted in him. But I did, he was the most attractive guy in the class. We started dating a couple of years later, when I moved to Moscow and he went to the Academy.

Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship!

At our wedding we had a contest with a raffle of expensive alcohol, but while the guests were driving to the place of celebration in a shared bus, the alcohol was consumed. We had to send the planner to the liquor store immediately after the host announced the contest.

Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.

Long distance relationships aren’t easy. We lived in different cities for many years and we went to see each other on weekends and holidays, but that time strengthened us as a couple and was undoubtedly very romantic.

While planning our wedding it was hard to decide on the concept; there were so may interesting things we wanted to try, at the same time we strived to create a cohesive concept. We decided that the ideas we could not bring to life, we would use them to celebrate our wedding anniversaries.

Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?

The bride’s younger brother took the wedding rings out on a child’s vespa. It was the cutest moment of the ceremony; he tried very hard and even rehearsed the ride out.

What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?

The vows of love we made to each other in the presence of those closest to us.

What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?

We teach each other to believe in ourselves, to believe in the best. We try to scale our goals, ambitions, and support each other’s every endeavor.

What is your favorite thing about each other?

Artem in Anastasia: ambition and determination.

Anastasia in Artem: attention, masculinity, kindness.

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?

The process of our getting closer, at the time of preparation it was very tangible.

If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?

Learn to talk. This is very important and valuable, because the most difficult situation can be resolved in a simple, calm conversation.

What is the most honest thing you can say about love?

Love is caring for a loved one, seeing them smile and knowing that they are happy.
