A beautiful engagement session with the horse Quincy, such a fun spin on a traditional engagement session with a little adventure added in! Photographed in Nova Scotia, join Taylor and Chris on their journey …
An Equestrian Inspired engagement session, with real couple Taylor and Chris. This engagement session was styled and photographed purely by horse-lovers and long time equestrians – which is absolutely shown through the authentic use of vintage clothing and accessories, and the true bond between horse and rider.

Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.
“I consider myself very fortunate to have Chris, not only in my life, but as my partner.
To say he’s my rock would not do him justice.
These past few years, this one in particular, has been anything but easy and full of heartache for us personally, pandemic aside, we’ve lost loved ones, had to say good-bye (too soon) to our beloved companion, Chevelle, and numerous miscarriages as we have try to start a family of our own. Life has thrown what feels like all it could our way, at times shattering our world around us. But we stand side by side, and hand in hand.
He’s always right there, no judgement, no expectations, just his unconditional love and support.
For him I am forever grateful. ”

What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?
“For me it’s getting to say those two words that day that make Taylor mine for the rest of my life ” I do”
I never thought two words could mean so much or even a wedding but after meeting Taylor that all changed. She is the most loving, caring and selfless person I know. Taylor goes through so much at work, heartache, anger and overwhelming stress but when I get home I’m met with smiles, warm hugs and kisses. Now those two words I never wanted to say them more, so I can spend the rest of my life keeping a smile on her face and standing by her side. ” – Chris
What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?
“Being patient. growing up I always knew what I wanted and always rushed to get it, but that all changed when I met Taylor, she showed me the best things take time and to enjoy life in the moment.” – Chris
What is your favorite thing about each other?
“He is truly that person who has such a beautiful air about him, who can bring light to the darkest of rooms. He has blessed my life with more joy, warmth, laughter and the purest of love, than I ever thought I deserved or would behold.”
-Taylor
What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
“For me it’s how excited Taylor gets and how happy she is. I am not one for planning, I don’t get over excited for much but seeing Taylor so happy it gets me excited for one of the best days of my life.”- Chris
If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
“Be selfish, for each other. It’s easy to want to give your all, and get lost. Being someone’s partner to me, means making sure the man I love, so much, doesn’t lose who he is as an individual, what he values, and what he holds dear.”
-Taylor
What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
“”How to love” is easily something you never master, we’ve been together going on a decade and are stilling learning and growing, together.
Just when you think you’ve figured it all out a new hurdle comes your way. It’s acknowledging and embracing what you don’t know/are struggling with and seeking the right tools or “know how” to do better by your partner and yourself.”
