Beautiful blue wedding inspiration from Brittany, France. We love the unique details to this (especially those plates!) and all the floral details tucked so perfectly here and there. The day follows our bride from getting ready to the wedding ceremony – enjoy!
from the photographer: “Brittany is a territory where authenticity and nature are essentially in attendance.
It is a region in France where the most delicate shades of blue can be encountered everywhere whether it be in the purity of the flowers, the depth of the ocean which is never too far or in the skies when it is not cloudy which rarely happens!
Through this styled bridal shoot we wanted to put forward this beautiful region and to highlight blue as the key colour so dearly connected to the Breton identity.
Elegance and simplicity where the lead guiding words and we were kindly hosted by the Domaine des Garennes in Bénodet, overlooking the ocean.
Located South of the westernmost part of Brittany and on the shores of the river Odet, Les Garennes is a genuine ethereal peace heaven made of green by the sea, with a breathtaking view on the Bénodet pontoons.
This manor was gracefully renovated by a renowned architect who re established its historic traditional splendor whilst adding a touch of modernity. This enabled us to play on the authenticity and traditional aspects of the architecture as well as bringing in some more modern touches. As you will appreciate though the pictures, the colour blue is embedded is so many elegant ways in the indoor decorations which brings depth and character to the whole manor.
From the bride preparations in one of the castle suites to the ceremony placed outdoors in the parc and onto the refined flatlays we kept in mind the timelessness we wanted to show in every detail of this styled shoot.
Without further a due, let us go and meet Laure who is getting ready…”
