The celebration of new life is something very special. Each time it happens it’s a miracle, and we love when family and friends gather together to bless and encourage those who have taken the brave step forward in becoming parents. Anna & Andrew from Dear Lovers Photography recently welcomed their baby girl, and this is a throwback to the backyard baby shower some of their industry friends threw for them! It’s definitely got a fall / winter vibe – but we love the color splash and think it’s applicable year round!
This shoot is very near and dear to our hearts… Andrew and I have been fine art photographers for a decade now, and just welcomed our first little baby girl, Penelope, into the world on February 20th 2021. Being in the industry for so long naturally some of our dearest friends are also fellow vendors and it was so so special when they joined together to create a beautiful, intimate, styled baby shower for us in December. They pulled all of our favorite tones and textures for an organic, neutral, fall inspired lunch, and it was so sweet to have Andrew surprise me by showing up to capture the memories for us in our favorite medium – film. – Anna from Dear Lovers
