A charming White Chimney Mansion engagement with the most dreamy light that gave Dolores & Will a subtle glow. They were graced with a beautiful evening as they explored the gardens for their session. The smiles & sweet moments captured between them really draw you in. Dolores chose to wear all white, while Will’s outfit was a mixture of white & muted colors, overall creating such a classic & clean look!
Dolores & Will’s engagement was very special to me. I grew up knowing Dolores from our local church, we grew up knowing each other’s families and having a lot of shared experiences. When she reached out to me in mid June she let me know that her and her boyfriend of the last couple of years were engaged and that they planned to get married at the end of summer. She explained how they were having dinner one night recently, and decided that they didn’t want to wait anymore and that they wanted to spend forever together. Dolores and Will surprised their families and friends with both the news that they were engaged, and that their wedding was around the corner. Everyone was over the moon as the two are loved by so many. I was so touched that she thought of me for this big day.
The couple drove from NYC to Lancaster, Pennsylvania where I live for their engagement session. We chose to shoot at the Historic White Chimney Mansion grounds, in their stunning garden. I shot at sunset as the sun was setting behind the hills and trees of the farm on the property.
