Family. Always there for each other no matter what. Through the good times and the bad, through the high points and the low valleys. Families are a unique entity that celebrate the greatest moments in life together, and hold each other through the worst moments too.
We loved getting to share the photos of the Melcher Family in our last printed volume. Today we’re sharing their lovely images and some conversation thoughts from them today on the blog!

What’s your favorite family pastime?
We are definitely an active family. Our favorite pastime is finding new hiking trails and playing at the park.
Any lessons you learned as a family through the last year?
This past year has been one for the books with the pandemic. We have learned to be more intuitive with each other, and when we have been able to get together with family. We’ve also learned the importance of a great conversation without distractions.
Tell us a fun or silly story that happened to your family!
This past July our family was all together to celebrate my mother’s Birthday in Hayward Wisconsin. We had all the cousins under one roof (7 kids, 6 of them under the age of 6). The week was pure chaos, but the laughs and fun had between all the cousins was priceless. My oldest son, Clark still talks about the fun cousins week at the lake.
What does family mean to you?
There’s so much to say about family! Family means we will always be there for each other no matter what the circumstances are. Being able to be open about our feelings, opinions, and emotions without judgement, and with open arms.
