Summer Days Wedding Celebration

Good morning and happy Tuesday! We are pretty much swooning over this couple, these details and the bright day they got to celebrate each other on. There are many things about this love story worth mentioning, but the genuine contentment and peace that these two were so proudly for each other is beautiful! Don’t miss out on the woodsy couple portraits and the sweetest flower girl EVER in the next couple of photos. We hope this feature lifts your spirits and brightens your day a bit! Enjoy!

From the Photographer: I had the privilege of getting to know Kelsey + Travis during their engagement photography session with me, and I quickly caught on to how special these two were. Their wedding day was a true joy to take part in, and I am so excited to share highlights from their wedding day with you today. Kelsey and Travis celebrated their wedding on a private estate in Sandy, Oregon which just overlooked the magnificent Mount Hood. The bride and groom kept things simple and classic, leaving their personalities to shine through all the details. LeeAnn Rose Hellweg of Bloom & Vessel created stunning floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception, and it was a pleasure watching her work. I also adored the vision Kelsey had of dressing her maids in white! This look, styled with their adorable matching clogs, complemented each of her beautiful ladies so well and paired beautifully with Travis and his men. Travis’ reaction to seeing Kelsey in her A&Be wedding dress for the first time at their grand reveal was almost too much to witness – but what moved me even more were the tears he shed as his bride walked toward him down the aisle, arm in arm with her father. In that moment, Travis’ joy and love for Kelsey was incredibly evident. Their wedding guests had nothing but love and support to show for the happy couple; it is evident this union is full of so much joy.

From the Bride: Travis and I met at the church we were both attending at the time. He and my brother-in-law have also been best friends for as long as I’ve known him, so he was always around for friend/family get-togethers, holidays, etc. We were friends for 5-6 years before we started dating and he felt more like a brother to me for all those years, ha!

From the groom: It was a gray Saturday in April and he had planned a day trip to the Oregon coast. We stopped for breakfast on our way at one of our favorite spots and then headed to Pacific City. We spent the afternoon at a coffee shop overlooking the ocean, played cribbage, grabbed some warm drinks to go and some firewood (a MUST!), and headed down to the beach. Alas, it was the moment he had been waiting for… and let’s just say, it wasn’t your ‘typical’ proposal. We’d had a serious conversation the night prior – I was asking
