Spain Wedding Inspiration With Pops of Color

Today’s feature is a stunning Spain wedding inspiration with pops of color! With captivating views and dreamy light this editorial incorporates timeless & classic elegance. A detail that stands out to me is the vendors ensured that all elements of the shoot were locally sourced, which is amazing to support local businesses while creating stunning wedding inspiration.

What was your design inspiration?
“The concept of this shoot came from Wedding Planner Donna of Donna Weddings; We wanted to showcase classic elegance in a contemporary way. Southern Spain is world-famous for its flamenco, food, beautiful beaches, and fantastic weather, but so much of its’ true beauty is hidden slightly inland. This beautiful Cortijo with fabulous Andalucian views is located on an organic olive oil farm just 40 minutes from the Costa del Sol at a village often regarded as one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful, Ronda. We wanted to show elegance but we also to show something real. Decadent yet not too polished; a real wedding setting that is both attainable yet inspirational. Timeless yet contemporary. Donna spent days searching for a venue that reflected an organic Andalucian theme and was honored to be the first wedding planner to be able to put together a wedding inspiration shoot at La Organic in Ronda. It is also worth noting that we ensured that all elements of this shoot were locally sourced, nearly all organic. We made every effort to ensure that nothing and no one had traveled more than 60km to be in Ronda. It was something very close to the heart of the team we pulled together. Hand made stationery and Italian inspired pieces along with Antonio’s hanging chandeliers were some of the standout decorative features of the dinner table. The smaller evening table was composed of nothing other than locally sourced Andalucian produce. It was truly a banquet fit for a newlywed couple. In terms of styling, Donna was insistent that every part was real. Nothing was fake, every little touch was handmade, crafted, or delivered just for this shoot. Between her determination and vision to create an organic modern inspiration shoot and the work of florist and decor specialist Antonio at Studio de Fleurs they managed to create something special at a time when the world needs positivity, inclusivity and above all, love.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography

Tell us about your attire choices.
“We wanted our couple to be formally dressed with black tie elegance yet with a statement day time dress. For wedding planner and stylist Donna “as a Spanish woman, it is important for me that the dress represented our heritage whilst maintaining a modern European twist, so I contacted the wonder Alejandro Resto for one of his incredible wedding dresses. With so many of our couples choosing an outfit change, it seemed only fitting to show a change of outfit for the evening”.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography

Describe your flowers.
“Antonio at Studio de Fleurs created a season-inspired elegant bouquet. Donna and Antonio spent a great deal of time deciding on the decorative themes and small touches. Such as how the ceremony arch and tableware mixed a contemporary Andalucian floral palate with a hint of autumnal colors.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography

Describe the tablescape elements.
“There was an element of Italian Inspiration in the main table, with the small evening table being nothing other than Andalucian produce, nothing that went on to the table came from any further than Malaga. It was all locally sourced.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography

Please describe any DIY, handmade or personal details.
“To be fair to all of those involved; everything was real. Nothing was fake, every little touch was handmade, crafted or delivered just for this shoot.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography

Describe your cake.
“Honestly, delicious! It was a real cake as a gift to all of us and it was so beautifully created, taking a rural inspiration and pulling it into a beautiful cake.” – Sam Bloomfield of Bloomfield Photography
