Organic Chic Wedding Inspiration

From the Photographer: To symbolize the beginning of a new phase in life, the use of the half circle shape is carefully placed in this design. Through both the brass half circle calligraphed place cards and the muted details on the cake, we chose to intentionally add visual interest through the use of shape.

Blending unconventional black details with soft neutrals and organic greenery, our aim was to achieve the balance between traditional wedding design and modern minimalism.

From the Photographer: An ode to intention, this styled shoot focuses on the interception of subtle whimsey and bold modernism. Opting for an intimate and carefully curated ceremony and reception, our couple chose to wed in a downtown loft with picturesque architectural details, the perfect juxtaposition between the conventional and the unconventional. The bridal gown, both intricate and understated, is a nod to the natural elements woven throughout the wedding design.

Anchoring both the ceremony and reception, a structural installation blends the bold use of shape with organic found materials. To balance out the soft blue and neutral palette of the table linen and florals, daring black wishbone chairs, plates and flatware are the perfect accents. To represent structure amongst the whimsical floral design, our florist chose to arrange the blooms in ikebana, a Japanese floral arranging style that focuses on form.
