from the photographer: “This romantic bridal styled shoot is inspired by Old World Romance with a Modern Twist. We brought our vision to life by creating a mantle floral arrangement draped in accents of dusty pink and cream roses lending to an ethereal, timeless aesthetic. We also created an intimate outdoor dining experience complete with a beautiful tablescape of nude, pink, and cream florals, complimented by vintage taper candles and candelabras. This editorial took place at Greystone Hall in Philadelphia, USA, an English Renaissance style manor on a 500 acre country estate. The concept was influenced by one of my client/friends who had originally planned to marry in Europe. Due to the pandemic and border closings, they were unable to hold their wedding in Italy, and eventually had to cancel it, despite all of the arrangements having been made. This made me think of re-creating an intimate wedding alluding to old world elements while remaining on US property.
