Showcasing beautifully aged pieces, delicate textures & lush, organic florals this vision came together to create a masterpiece. Within this inspiration lives a love story that is hinged on the exchanging of many love letters between the bride & groom. It is said below that these sweet letters were their lifeline during the years that distance kept them apart, so beautiful to see such a connection in this amazing editorial.

Notes from the Planner – “Nestled within Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a nostalgic mansion known as Hartwood Acres. This 1929 Tudor-style structure served as the elegant and idyllic location for our vision of an old-world European editorial. The beautiful stone mansion and surrounding organic foliage was the perfect setting to showcase a vision inspired by impetuous love and elegant subtleties of a time passed. The cornerstone of our love story lies in the exchanging of the many love letters between the bride and her groom. These sweet letters were their lifeline during the years that distance kept them apart. Each letter sealed in an envelope marked by their unrelenting devotion to one another. At times, the bride would lovingly cherish a love note from her beloved in her beautifully-aged beaded hand purse.”

From the Planner Delighting in European old-world style, the bride wore a hand-adorned and embellished bodice consisting of pearl and rhinestone with an effortlessly flowing silk chiffon skirt. The bride’s delicate look was finished with intricate-detailed classic gold jewelry pieces. Of particular importance was the Belle Épogue diamond and natural pearl brooch pendant by Henne Jewelers. Belle Époque is significant to our story as it quite literally translates to a “Beautiful Age” where peace, prosperity and progress were abundant in old-world Europe.”

“To further reflect the expressed written words of love between Anna & Paul were the handwritten parchment letters that were created for the wedding cake which featured ripped fondant and wafer paper ruffles accented with a romantic arrangement of wafer paper “love letter” flowers.” – Jennifer Pecorari of Novalee Events Co.

“The inspiration for the gathering table was to illustrate a refined simplicity enhanced by lush and organic florals, while remaining relaxed and consistent with florals you might find in old-world Europe. The vision was completed by accenting with delicate texture, classic garden roses, and layers of beautiful blooms.” – Jennifer Pecorari of Novalee Events Co.
