Light and Shadows Morning Bridal

This fun morning bridal put a spin on typical bridal portraits. Featuring a beautiful blue tulle dress with a lace bodice the fabric floated along with the bride’s every move. The stunning neutral colored architecture of the University of Washington created almost a European castle like feel to the bridal session!

The sun made its incredible debut early in the morning, making it a splendid opportunity to play with light and shadows. The gown billowed and flowed like a cascading river, as each lace detail of the bodice caught the shadows of the sun’s rays. A gown fit for the delicate silhouette of my bride, with each layer of tulle falling gently atop each other, almost floating. It was from this gown that I drew my inspiration of wanting to combine the modern flare with old world charm. The surrounding architecture from the stunning University of Washington, my alma mater, was the perfect mix of both worlds. -Aika Foz
