Fink Family Session

Today we are sharing a family session that captures the beauty of family together, the simplicity of less posing & more natural moments that can be allowed to unfold during the time spent with the photographer. I love how Adrianne Shelton of Beatific Visions Photography represented family life in such a true form, children playing & having fun while their parents enjoy the sweet moments shared, simple yet captivating.

from the photographer: “I have been photographing the Fink family for a couple of years now, and their family sessions are always something to look forward to. Ashley (mama) is a fellow family photographer and we are constantly finding inspiration together. Of all the sessions I have done for these guys, I have to say this one was my favorite.
Sprawling landscapes full of natural beauty are my favorite to photograph, as they not only provide the perfect backdrop no matter the season, but also give kids a chance to explore. Free from rigid posing and strict rules, I believe I can give families a glimpse of their relationships – not just the way they look at this age, but how they truly interact with one another.
This was the last session I did before my maternity leave, so waddling around with both my Pentax and my Nikon was a challenge, but it was so worth it. I noticed, looking at the images afterwards, that my perspective in some of the images was a little different than my go-tos, because I wasn’t able to squat to be on the same plane as the kids, for example. I appreciated the challenge of keeping true to my style while having to find new ways to physically do it, and I always look for new ways to grow in my craft.”
