Nestled amidst the lush gardens of the historic Swan House, this wedding editorial captures the essence of timeless elegance and romance. The Swan House, a renowned Atlanta landmark known for its neoclassical architecture and enchanting surroundings, sets the stage for a truly magical celebration. With its grandeur and refined charm, this editorial will transport you to a world where love and beauty intertwine. -Kismet Visuals This dreamy editorial was the perfect infusion of refined elegance and the organic charm of nature. With the setting being the beloved Swan House, an Atlanta mansion built in the 1920s, the design inspiration began to take place with a Dutch tuin in mind. Characterized by its meticulously manicured landscapes, intricate hedges, and vibrant blooms, the Dutch tuin theme would embrace the beauty of Swan House’s grounds and historic charm.
Wrennwood Design and the vendor team blended classic elements with a touch of whimsy, creating a truly captivating experience. A romantic color palette of ivory, yellow, blush, pale gold, and hints of sage green were showcased from start to finish to ensure a harmonious atmosphere of understated luxury. With these hues in mind and the floral splendor that this editorial was after, the floral team designed cascading arrangements of garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus which adorned the ceremony backdrop and reception tables. Lush greenery accents also added to the natural beauty of Swan House, furthering the vision of an enchanting garden.
Em Paper Co crafted dreamy paper goods and stationery that added to the high-end feel by incorporating the floral scheme within the design, which can be found within the invitation suite, gifts at each place setting and the custom bar motif.
Tables draped in flowing, textured linens from Nuage Linens served as a canvas for exquisite tablescapes to take shape. The gilded charger plates, modern cutlery, and delicate crystal glassware exude elegance. Taper candles in ornate holders casted a warm glow, enhancing the romance.
Another favorite detail included the ceremony taking place in front of the fountain as a quintessential element of a Dutch tuin is a water feature. The fountain as the backdrop added a sense of tranquility and elegance and also would be both a visual and auditory delight with a soothing ambiance as the water gently cascades.
The bride wore a breathtaking Claire De Lune gown with intricate floral detailing and a flowing train. Delicate stitchwork and a classic silhouette were perfectly fitting with the elegance of the Swan House. Accessory pieces by Eden Luxe Bridal, shoes from Bella Belle and a bouquet of soft blooms would complete her look. The groom donned a custom tailored black tux by The Modern Gent. His finishing touches were a crisp white shirt and a black bowtie, making his look timeless and sophisticated.
All the details flowed together seamlessly thanks to The Editorial Experiences and Kismet Visuals & Co. captured it all to perfection. Photographer: Kismet Visuals & Co.
