From winter, spring blooms.
That’s the feeling you get when you see this beautiful and lush inspiration we received from White Wren Collaborative Member Palermo Photo – an essence of spring and all things growing, set against a clean and modern backdrop where the blooms truly emerge as the figure of life. And while it’s not technically summer just yet (although it might feel like it!), we wanted to celebrate spring some more with this beautiful inspiration.
from photographer, Maria Palermo: “The concept of this shoot was to show the emergence of spring and its delicate yet soft beauty. The juxtaposition of the stark end of winter and the soft delicate blooms of spring served as the inspiration and color palette for this shoot. We used cooler linen tones and heavier metals to show the weight of winter, but out of the winter darkness and cool emerges beautiful flowers and a new season. The dreamy ballroom with grey undertones and soft lighting emulated the beginning of the spring sun. Our model can be see with very prominent features, yet still soft in palette and in airy dresses representing the new growth of the season. The Magnolia tree and bloom also represent purity, an element of rebirth.
The refined details of soft linens and paper goods complimented the airy dresses and simplistic bridal looks to let the floral components be the center of the shoot. Our take on spring regrowth was one with elegance and contemporary elements that created a unique setting.”
