from the photographer: “Boudoir portraits are one of my favorite things to photograph because they often give me the opportunity to connect with the person in front of my camera on a deeper level. After a session, I often feel like I have gotten a glimpse of that person’s spirit because these sessions are intimate and truly a moment of vulnerability for us both, as creator and subject. As two humans who have let the world fall around for a couple of hours to just talk and create. I truly felt that during my boudoir session with Carly. We were connected and we both felt really empowered in this moment. Our bodies carry our spirits, our souls, our stories and that’s what makes them so amazing and worth celebrating.
This session was about respecting Carly’s femininity, but also having fun and just enjoying the moment of being in her body. She chose her favorite pieces from Bluebella that were delicate and soft and made her beautiful!”
