Intimacy is such an important part of the wedding day—beneath all the hectic scheduling and whirling tradition lies the heartbeat of that day: two souls, one marriage. Yet often, buried beneath the mindset of hurried itinerary, couples find their wedding days come and gone with hardly any memory and even, at times, without so much as a bite to eat! Weddings, like marriage, fall easy prey to life’s brisk pace, but like marriage they too find breath in the quiet moments when couples simply take time for one another. Those are the moments where you find their truest radiance!
Ryan & Madeline mastered the art of “you & me” on their lovely day: an intimate church wedding punctuated by the most joyful frolic on the beach and a warm reception under market lights—and Karla Lacher of Lacher’s Lens Photography had the unique pleasure of capturing it all!
A word from photographer Karla Lacher:
“This super sweet couple, Madeline and Ryan, came down from Atlanta to have a destination wedding at the Cottage Rental Agency. Their ceremony was held in the quaint Seaside Chapel with an open garden reception in Ruskin Square. As part of the build up to the ceremony, Ryan had Madeline’s sister deliver a letter to Madeline, each hour on the hour. Some letters arrived with gifts, including a new bible and a lovely photo album!”
