Today’s feature is all about the vibrant beauties of bougainvillea florals! These stunning pops of bright and rich color were the perfect inspiration for a classic bridal boudoir look. Paired with the timeless graces of vintage pieces and clean styling reminiscent of classic French design, their bold and beautiful hues bring a daring note to an otherwise quieted melody. Floral designer The Monarch Florals brought the botanical perfection while Jolienne Collection adorned our bride with their exquisite pieces, and Hannah Ball of Peaches & Twine was there to capture the collective magic! It’s a lovely inspiration dreamt up for the bride with timeless style and a pinch of quiet, colorful rebellion!
A word from Hannah Ball:
“This boudoir shoot was inspired by the idea of a bougainvillea filled wreath. After dreaming of unusual ways of displaying flowers and other accents, this shoot was born! It was meant to have a slight Parisian vibe, mixed with an editorial tone.
We also wanted to challenge the typical boudoir style that is so obviously bridal. Brides can do a boudoir session without overdoing it with the veil and only white lingerie. Sometimes it’s nice to switch it up with a slinky dress, or some vintage pieces, and truly making it her own!”
