Cherry Blossom Field Anniversary Session

Cherry Blossom Field Anniversary Session

Cherry blossoms have always been romantic, but this anniversary session confirmed that times a million! Lena and Daniel celebrated their anniversary with this stunning shoot in the hear of California. Every simplistic and elegant detail was perfected by the authenticity of these two. We especially love the detailed shots of the couple behind the flowers, so be sure not to miss those! Happy scrolling!
From the photographer: Lena and Daniel’s beautiful session was right before the pandemic lock-down in California, and this session was to celebrate their second-year anniversary. When they were getting married two years ago, instead of spending their money on a wedding, these two chose to use the money and time to travel. We felt so lucky that not only did we get to catch the best of the cherry blossom season this year, we also captured the time when the predominant color of the Golden State didn’t match its name. Daniel works as a postman right now, so while we are all sheltering in place, he’s been working with a very busy schedule at the moment. We really admired his devotion and contribution to the community and felt honored that we could work with this beautiful couple in this very specially spring.
From Lena: Before this session, we had never been taken fine art photos like this, so it was very special for us. We got married two years’ ago on November, 11. Before Daniel started his work at the post office, we would go on a small trip every month.
From the couple: Neither of us are the cuddling type, so all the romantic poses from our session are rare in our daily life. However, similar to our adventures, they did have a subtle yet interesting chemistry in our feelings, and we felt we were even more in love than before.
From Lena: Our lifestyle has switched from complicated to simple. After we got married, we preferred to pursue a simple lifestyle. Daniel was born into a Christian family, so he always sees the goods in everyone, which is very different from me, and sometimes people would take advantage of him. I’ve worked for years and could easily think too much. I’m really grateful that, in a way, our marriage have completed us and we help each other to become our better selves.
