A clean and bright boudoir with a happy pop of florals – we are loving all the color balanced against the white background and hope you do too!
from the photographer: “Classy, Conservative Bridal boudoir is about celebrating the love for your partner, and seeing yourself the way your love sees you. I can’t even number how many times I’ve been told after a boudoir session, ” Oh wow, NOW I see what he has been telling me all along.” For Amarra’s bridal boudoir we decided to keep to classic bright, fun, and feminine bridal colors that matched her vintage themed wedding. Since she is a young bride marrying her solider, she wanted to have a slightly edgy, yet feminine mood. We first choose an eyelash lace bra set paired with a delicate chantilly lace cathedral length robe. Then used her “something blue” panty and bra set for a sweet, romantic look with a faux floral boudoir bouquet. For her last look we chose a pink floral set with a zipper for a bit of romance with edge. To add even more romance bright florals were added to the headboard and chair. How to DIY your own bridal bouquet: I highly recommend adding fresh, natural florals to your bridal boudoir session, but in the case you prefer or want faux florals as a keepsake, look below for a few tip on creating a faux bridal boudoir bouquet that will photograph well. 1. Pick an assortment of ‘real touch’ faux flowers, try about three types of varying texture and style. Real touch faux stems look much more real than standard faux florals. We picked a mix of open real touch roses, ranunculus, and bohemian feathers for a fun, glam touch. 2.) Arrange stems as you want them, then carefully cut the stems one at a time with a wire cutter. 3.) Use floral wire and floral tape to secure the florals together. 4.) Wrap the stems with lace, ribbon, or hand dyed fabric and secure with pins. 5.) For our hanging florals on the headboard, we simply used long strips of foam and gently arranged florals stems into the foam and attached the foam to the furniture.”
